THE ENGINEERING
The Rega Spacer Kit allows correct tonearm height (VTA) to be maintained on Rega turntables when fitting a thicker platter mat such as the Achromat or APM. Rega tonearms are fixed-height by design - fitting a thicker mat without compensating for VTA will place the cartridge at the wrong angle to the record, degrading performance. This kit provides the correct spacers to raise the tonearm and restore accurate cartridge geometry after a mat upgrade.
