THE ENGINEERING
The AT-ART9XA is Audio-Technica's ultra-premium moving coil cartridge, featuring a Shibata stylus mounted on a 0.28mm solid boron cantilever. The Shibata profile represents the pinnacle of stylus engineering - its ultra-fine contact ellipse traces the shallowest groove modulations, making it ideal for high-resolution vinyl and high-frequency content beyond 40,000Hz. Output is a very low 0.2mV, designed for the most capable MC phono stages.
